Personal
Information
The information you provide to boodlesofcakes.com is stored,
offline, and secured by our head office Boodles of Baskets. Under
no circumstances do we sell, rent or otherwise disclose ANY
personal information provided to us, by you, EVER.
Your Credit Card
All credit card transactions are processed offline. Your
information is gathered through Mal's E-Commerce, a leading
shopping cart server, and is gathered using the strictest 128-bit
encryption methods. Once your information is received through
their secure server, we delete it off their servers. Your receipt
will have the name of our head office Boodles of Baskets on it. |

Processing |

Orders to Ontario and Quebec are shipped Monday to Thursday
(Business Days Only) to prevent cakes from sitting in a shipping
facility over the weekend.
Orders to all other
provinces are shipped Monday to Wednesday (Business Days Only) to
prevent cakes from sitting in a shipping facility over the
weekend.
Processing times are as
follows:
ONTARIO/QUEBEC
Orders received by 9pm EST Monday-Wednesday (Business Days Only)
are processed and shipped the next day.
Orders received after 9pm Wednesday will be processed and shipped
on Monday (business days only)
Christmas orders may require 1-2 extra processing days depending
on volume.
ALL OTHER PROVINCES
Orders received by 9pm EST Monday and Tuesday (Business Days Only)
are processed and shipped the next day.
Orders received after 9pm Tuesday will be processed and shipped on
Monday (business days only)

Orders are shipped to arrive
within 1-2 business days. Shipping times vary based on
destination, please see our order page for specific timing. |
| Taxes |
| Taxes are
calculated based on where the cakes are being delivered, not based
on where the sender lives. If the correct province/state is not
chosen during the order process and/or incorrect taxes are applied
we will make the necessary corrections on your behalf and charge
your credit card accordingly. |
| Shipping Fees
and Policies |
Shipping
Fees-Cakes
Each tin is shipped in its own shipping box and therefore
shipping fees apply to each item, regardless of whether it is
being shipped to the same address or not.
Delivery
Our shipping is done via Fedex. Deliveries are made between 9
and 6 EST Monday to Friday. Fedex does not allow time specific
deliveries (eg. by 1pm).
Fedex does not phone to arrange deliveries.
Shipment times reflect business days. Shipping to remote
locations in Canada, may require more time and an increase in
shipping costs. We will not be held responsible for delays due to
weather or other acts of God.
Hospital/Retirement/Colleges/and the like-boodlesofcakes.com
will not be held responsible for cakes that have been delivered to
shipping and receiving, but not forwarded to the
patient/student/recipient by the accepting facility.
Non Delivery/Re-Delivery
If a recipient is not home when the cake is delivered, and it
is a house your cake will be left on the porch in a shipping box.
If it is an apartment or business, a note will be left, if
possible, for the recipient to either call the number provided to
arrange for delivery or to sign the note with instructions on
where to leave the cake for a re-delivery attempt the following
business day. After two attempts, the cake will
be returned to us. There will be an additional shipping
charge equal to the original shipping charge for all gifts
returned to us.
Incorrect Address
Due to cakes perishable nature it is imperative that we are
provided with a correct address. If an address change request is
made while the package is on route, an additional shipping fee of
$12.75 will apply. It is the customer's responsibility to provide
us with a complete and correct address (including the buzzer
number if applicable). Please check your
addresses carefully! (Including a daytime phone number where the
recipient can be reached is highly recommended.) boodlesofcakes.com/Boodles of Baskets will not be held responsible
for returns due to an incorrect address. No refund will be given.
Delivery Tracking-
As long as you provide us with a valid email address, you will
receive a tracking updates for your cake. boodlesofcakes.com can track your
order for you for a $5 tracking fee per item. |
| Return Policy |
| Due to the
perishable nature of cake, please ensure that someone will be
available to receive your cake delivery on the delivery date. We
cannot be responsible for cakes that are damaged or spoiled due to
any delivery issues.
All damaged shipments must be
reported within 5 business days. We will make every effort to
replace damaged items within this time, however we cannot be
responsible for damage not reported within this time frame.
Please keep all damaged merchandise and packaging as it may be
requested by the carrier.
Any goods returned to
boodlesofcakes.com/Boodles of Baskets without prior authorization
will not be refunded. The shipping costs of unauthorized returns
will not be refunded.
All orders cancelled after
the credit card has been processed are subject to a $5.00
cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to change,
amend, update or cancel this policy at anytime without notice.
All orders are
subject to our approval.
